This is the first post for the new Portland Marathon Volunteers of America Oregon blog! Welcome! And yes, it IS 5:30am. I couldn't sleep and have been wanting to set up a blog so that I can share all the latest marathon info. Yesterday two of my co-workers, Alexa and Celeste registered for the 10K walk! I'm already registered, so I'm excited to have others join me. I'm sure they will walk faster than I do - my goal is to get to the finish line in however long it takes!
